"The Earl" captures Top Beaver

Top Beaver finals found Street champ, Dale Rhoads out first in his
302 Mustang, but Earl Gee's better light prevailed. The 340 Mopar
took the win with a 11.08 on a 11.04 at 117.90 MPH to Chip's 12.17
on a 12.16 at 109.99 MPH.

Leroy Klinefelter ran down Chad Ferster's Mustang to take the Top
title.

Bike finals fell to 2008 Bracket Finals Champion, Mike Boyer onboard
his Hayabusa over Lori Leonard. Mike used a 9.58 on a 9.56 at 141.02
MPH to stop Lori's run out 10.276 on a 10.33 at 138.58 MPH.

Street finals saw a battle of the leaders with Dale Rhoads Mustang
taking the win over Dave Weaver's Mopar in a double run out affair.
Dale clocked a 12.169 on a 12.17 to Dave's 12.652 on a 12.66. Yes it
was close.

Megan Clark is out first in Hot Rod Trophy but took .005 too much
stripe giving the win to Dwight Shelly's Chevy. Dwight ran a 12.44
on a 12.29 at 107.74 MPH for the title to Megan's 15.085 on a 15.09
at 89.25 MPH.

Paige Lear in her Nova took the TCR title with a final round win
over points leader, Carly Smith. Paige ran a 18.66 on a 18.65 at
82.36 MPH to Carly's 16.31 on a 16.26 at 85.00 MPH.

Bud Poust's Nova laid a .008 light on Ray Lear and won the Lil
Beaver crown with a 12.28 on a 12.14 at 100.78 MPH to ray's 13.18 on
a 13.15 at 105.60.
BONUS SHOTS

Top Beaver semis action found Earl Gee stopping Top Champ, LeRoy
Klinefelter. Earl ran righ on his 11.05 dial to take the win.

Top Beaver semis on the other side of the ladder went to Dale Rhoads
Mustang when Bike Champ, Mikey Boyer went red.

Chad Ferster's hard hooking Mustang took a runner up in Top ET.

Sue Vollman laid a perfect .000 light on Jason Derr's .002 to be
number one qualifier and close 50points on jason the points leader.

Kevin Little Willys look great even when he drops the first round.

Jim Holland and Roy Croll are two veterans you never take lightly.

Kevin Whitmer and Lou Drayer in early time shots.

Low ET in Modified went to Warren Franks in his stick Corvette with
a 8.60!!

Nostalgia Nationals Super Stock runner up Bob Roles was back cutting
them down in Modified. What a cool car.

taking the win over Billy Maturo's Yellow Jacket Gixxer.

Lori Leonard had her best day ever just coming up short for the
title.

The King, Ed Fetterolf hasn't hit the right combination yet. The `08
points champ will put it all together and be back in the hunt.

The Beaver's 1975 Points champion, Gerald Lloyd and his wife paid us
a visit. Gerald's D/SA Olds 442, "The Hummer" was the scourge of the
track.
WINNERS CIRCLE

Earl Gee picked up his second modified title of the season. He also
moved into the points lead with a 3 point advantage over Kevin
Whitmer.

Leroy Klinefelter became the second racer to post a double win in
Top. Leroy is joined by his pit mates, April and Jason Derr.

Mikey Boyer picked up his first Bike title since 2006.He's been
close any number of times but today was his day. He's joined in the
winners circle by his competitors and wife, Pammy.

Dale Rhoads picked up his second Iron tree of the season for winning
Street.

Hot Rod Trophy went to Dwight Shelly with a little entry fee help
for good guy Dave Bratton. Dad and mom are proud.

Paige Lear got the bucket treatment form rival, Carly Smith after
winning TCR.
